It probably does not come as much of a surprise to most critics of the Church of Scientology but the cult is using both of the shootings that happened last summer in Aurora, and the one that took place recently in Connecticut, to push the idea that psychiatric medication turns people into murderers. Using their front group Citizens Commission for Human Rights (CCHR)  the group put out an article discussing this nonsense.

As well as using the CCHR they also put a group of Volunteer Ministers together in Connecticut to “help” the victims, however the main intention of the Volunteer Ministers is to get the victims to join the cult, using their shock against them. The Volunteer Ministers are also passing out “The way to happiness”, a small pamphlet written by the cult’s founder L. Ron Hubbard. The main thing they want is money, so If you know anyone affected by this tragedy warn them about Scientology.

Whats even more interesting to me is that despite Hubbard's anti-psychiatry campaign he begged for psychiatric help and when he died the coroner found psych drugs in his body
What a hypocrite, huh?
